1. Do I have to sign up for PayPal?
No. You can pay with or without a PayPal account. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). Prices include all fees and taxes.
2. Can I meet a teacher before I buy classes?
All students have a Free Trial Class to discuss their goals and have their proficiency level evaluated before buying classes. It's our way of welcoming you.
3. Are your teachers native speakers?
Teachers are experts who are experienced native English speakers.
4. Where are your students from?
Our students are all ages (children, teens and adults) and come from all around the world - Russia, Brazil, South Korea, Italy, Mexico, etc.
5. What are the benefits of Skype lessons?
We offer premium English lessons, and yet it's often far less expensive and time-consuming to learn English with us. You won't travel to class, buy expensive books or pay hidden fees. And, since classes are custom-designed for you, you will learn effectively.
6. Is there homework?
Homework depends on students' schedules and needs. Please discuss with your teacher during the first lesson.
7. When are the classes and what if I am late for a lesson or miss the scheduled time?
We work around your schedule. You tell us your availability and we do our best
to match it. We know schedules change, so if you give us at least 48 hours notice, we can reschedule your class for free.
However, if you are late, your teacher cannot extend the lesson because your teacher needs to prepare for other students. If you miss the class your account is charged.
8. What do I need to take a lesson?
You will need a headset with a microphone - your teacher has one too. Teachers also have webcams so you can see them. Many students use a webcam as well, but you are not required to.
9. Can I choose my teacher?
Schedules and time zones vary, so we assign you a teacher. If schedules permit, we may or may not allow you to learn with a different teacher in the future.
Do you offer editing services?
Yes. We professionally edit documents. In fact, Josh Shaman has edited a range of documents: essays, research reports and analyses for an international non-profit organization, a chapter of a book published in Europe, PowerPoint presentations, speech contests, etc. We usually require just 24 hours so that clients are always prepared for business.
