Abbreviation for legitimate. Also means seriously or not joking.
That dude is legit crazy.

Let-down:
Disappointment.
It was a real let-down to see my favorite singer doesn’t write her own songs.

Let him have it:
Attack someone verbally or physically.
I’m gonna let them have it when they get back from their trip.

Lighten up:
Relax.
Lighten up man. I’m just joking.

Loser:
Someone who is uncool or fails often.
Don’t say he’s such a loser. That’s so rude. 

Lousy:
Terrible.
He’s playing lousy again.

Love handles:
Excess fat just above the hips.
I need to exercise to get rid of my love handles.

Lowball:
To provide a low value. 
That dude made me a low-ball offer on my car.
